Welcome to the blog! I’m Brian and I’m a power engineer by trade, maker/do-er/hobbyist/weekend warrior and above all a dad. This blog serves as conduit (power engineering pun there) to leave things better than I found them. So I hope if anything to help others find their way by sharing my own dad hacks.

Ever heard the phrase “jack of all trades, master of none” well that’s me in nutshell. Growing up I always took things apart and struggled to put them back together but I’ve always loved to try and if anything I hope to get others into the “trying”business too.

Food
Cooking is a passion of mine I picked up from my Sicilian Grandfather, Joe. Growing up I remember making fresh bread, rolling meatballs, slow-simmering sauce for hours and above all, making and eating pasta.
